This one-of-a-kind amphora is hand crafted of black porcelain, the outside is glazed in dark matte black with a glossy black glazed spill at its spout. The inside of the amphora is glazed in glossy black, as is the porcelain tip on top of the black cork stopper.
Historically amphoras were used by the ancient Greeks and Romans to store and transport goods, such as grains, wine, spices or other commodities, they were also used for funeral offerings or to store human remains.
