This one-of-a-kind pin is handcrafted of porcelain, where lace is dipped into porcelain slip. Once this piece is fired in the kiln the lace burns, what remains is the structure and texture of the lace, making for stunning shapes with unique character and depth. The pin is of creamy white color, and decorated with a delicate line painted in 22 karat gold. The dangling drop-shaped bead is glazed in deep red.
