This one-of-a-kind amphora is hand crafted of white porcelain, the outside is left mostly unglazed with little specks of rose color, the inside of the amphora is glazed in glossy white, as is the little porcelain rose sitting on top of the cork stopper.
Historically amphoras were used by the ancient Greeks and Romans to store and transport goods, such as grains, wine, spices or other commodities, they were also used for funeral offerings or to store human remains.
Wether you choose to enjoy this object solely for its beauty, or use it as a utilitarian object is up to you. But if you are thinking of gifting this amphora why not hide a secret love note inside for the receiver.
